No One Knows I’m A Dog On The Internet is a video/animation composite based on Peter Steiner’s famouse 1993 New Yorker cartoon. The film examines ideas of privacy in the modern internet age, internet personas, hidden subcultures, and queer identities. The internet allows individuals to shape themselves and be seen in radical new ways, but the privacy that was once easily accessible in online spaces is quickly being replaced by ever-watching eyes. King uses 3D scans, 3D models, and and video performance to navigate through a nostalgic computer interface and uncover a hidden identity.
