Mothbox

Mothbox is a stop motion paper cut-out animation that King made to help prep for teaching a stop motion class at Virginia Tech. Using physical paper cut-outs references back to painted paper cut-out methods King used during grad school, seen in both “Mother Sea” and “Old Rag Mountain”. Music was composed by Karl Kuehn.
