Future Bodies Symposium

2022 | New Media Caucus Symposium | conference presentation

Virtual Connectivity, Intimacy, and Authenticity, or Why the Internet is Queer, is a presentation that was given at Future Bodies Symposium hosted by The New Media Caucus. King shared several new animations in the talk, including “Camboy: Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places”, “ASL: The Gaze”, “Ukrainian Track Suit”, and “Interface: Cruisin’”. This body of work influenced and contributed to King’s later project “No One Knows I’m A Dog On The Internet”.
